Nubo Sphere delivers insights on the location and the amount of methane emissions of your site.

All sensor nodes transmit methane concentrations, GNSS position and environmental quantities like ambient temperature continuously to the Nubo Sphere data analytics platform. Those devices that carry a wind sensor additionally transmit high-quality wind speed and direction measurements. Within the Nubo Sphere data analytics platform, incoming data is cleaned and pre-processed in an automated manner. Pre-processed data is used to detect, localize and quantify methane emissions. The resulting information is continuously made available through the Nubo Sphere platform, which provides a comprehensive overview of different sites, active and historic emissions, and device status.

Modeling the atmospheric dispersion of emitted gases to pinpoint emission locations

Once located, the emission rate is estimated using a Gaussian plume model that transforms the measured methane concentrations into a mass flow.
