Sensirion gas meter modules are based on the thermal-mass measurement principle, which is the best technology to measure flow to date and is used in high volumes in a wide range of challenging key applications. Thanks to the unique measurement principle, the same thermal-mass sensor can measure natural gas, LNG, hydrogen blends and pure hydrogen (alongside biomethane). Therefore, no meter replacement nor any firmware update will be required.
